1. Privacy Policy

The Intuitive Nurse (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy outlines:

1. What we collect

   • Name, email address, phone number, mailing address (if provided).

   • Health-related intake notes you voluntarily disclose before a session.

   • Payment information (processed via secure third-party gateways; we never store full card details).

2. How we use it

   • To schedule and deliver in-person or distance Reiki sessions.

   • To email booking confirmations, session follow-ups, and occasional wellness newsletters (opt-out any time).

   • To process payments and maintain tax records as required under Canadian law.

3. Retention & security

   • Client files are stored in password-protected, HIPAA-compliant cloud storage for 7 years (College of Nurses of Ontario record-keeping guidelines).

   • We never sell or rent your data.

4. Cookies
   Our website uses essential and analytics cookies to improve user experience. By browsing, you consent to the use of cookies. Adjust your browser settings to disable them if you prefer.

5. Access & deletion
   Email privacy@theintuitivenurse.com to request a copy or deletion of your records (subject to legal retention requirements).

2. Terms of Service

1. Scope
   These terms govern your use of theintuitivenurse.com and all services/products offered, including digital downloads sold via Etsy (IntuitivelyYouCo).

2. Eligibility
   By booking or purchasing, you confirm you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent).

3. Payment

   • Accepted: e-Transfer, cash.

   • Digital products: due in full at checkout; non-refundable once the file is delivered.

4. Intellectual Property
   All content, graphics, and digital products are © 2025 The Intuitive Nurse. No portion may be reproduced or resold without written consent.

5. Limitation of Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, The Intuitive Nurse is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of our website, services, or products.

6. Governing Law
   These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Grey County.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

• Life happens! Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

• Late cancellations (< 24 hrs) or missed appointments are charged 100 % of the session fee.

• To cancel: reply to your confirmation email or call 519-373-4382.

• If we must cancel due to emergency or illness, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at your convenience

4. Travel-to-Client Policy

• Mobile sessions are offered within Grey & Bruce County.

• Travel fee: $ 0.75 /km beyond a 20 km radius of Chesley, ON (calculated round-trip).

• Workspace must be smoke-free, pet-controlled, and provide enough room for a massage table.

• We reserve the right to refuse on-site service if safety or hygiene standards are not met; late-cancellation fee may apply.

5. Refunds & Returns

In-Person / Distance Reiki  - No Refund Window. Session fees are non-refundable after the service is rendered.

Digital downloads (Etsy) = No Refund Window.  Due to the instant-access nature, all digital sales are final.

Merchandise (if added later) Refund Window - 14 days. Item must be unused and in original packaging; buyer pays return shipping.

6. Medical Disclaimer

Reiki and complementary therapies offered by The Intuitive Nurse do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.
They are intended to support overall well-being and should be used alongside—not in place of—licensed medical care. Always consult a healthcare professional for serious or persistent symptoms.
